Generals Lacrosse Camp is an instructional lacrosse camp for girls entering grades 9-12. Our camp is perfect for those looking for top level coaching in a competitive playing environment. We truly believe in teaching the game and providing each camper with enough individualized attention to help her improve her skills and her understanding of the game.
Our camp is also a great opportunity for prospective W&L student-athletes to work with our coaching staff and to learn more about W&L and our lacrosse program.
Topics covered during camp include individual and team offensive, defensive, transition and draw concepts. We will work to develop each camper’s technical skills and tactical knowledge through drill stations, small sided competitions and full field games.
Goalkeepers will receive specific goalkeeper training and instruction will include shot stopping mechanics, footwork, angle play, clearing and communication. Following specific goalkeeper instruction, goalkeepers will be placed in game-like drills and scrimmages in order to work on their skills in a live environment.
